Millennium Gate Museum and Atlantic Station Dog Park Pool Party

There is beautiful walking, sight-seeing, and photo ops right around Millennium Gate Museum. There's is a beautiful pond with fountain and lots of trees and shade. We will be touring around the pond by the museum and the nearby quiet neighborhoods streets. After Our walk, we will stop at Atlantic Station Dog Park for a little play and a splash in their doggie pools. Towels will be provided and your pup will be wiped off with hypoallergenic wipes after their splash.

The Millennium Gate Museum and Atlantic Park Dog Park Adventure is usually pretty calm at this time of day, but there is still the potential to run into other people with their pups. Your pup must be dog and people friendly and non-reactive.

Field Trip begins at 11:00 am and ends at 12:30 pm, not including travel time.

 Murphy Candler

Park

Nestled in a wooded neighborhood just north of Atlanta, Murphey Candler Park spans over 100 acres of leafy forest, ballfields, and a small lake in Brookhaven. The park’s trail, a two-mile loop, circles the lake’s shore, offering a great spot to run (or a great in-town hike) with a scenic backdrop. It’s a great place for an afternoon stroll, with a good chance of spotting songbirds, geese, and wildflowers along its two-mile stretch. Your pup will enjoy all of the interesting sights and smells and will even get the opportunity to go for a swim!

The Murphy Candler Park Adventure is a dog friendly park. All dogs must be leashed. Your pup must be dog and people friendly.

Field Trip begins at 11:00 am and ends at 12:30 pm, not including travel time.

Morningside Nature Preserve

This week's Group Pack Hike takes us to Morningside Nature Preserve. This is one of my favorite places to take my pups during the warmer weather days. Morningside Nature Preserve hosts Atlanta's very own Dog Beach. The pups will get a chance to hike and then have a splash in the water. Tucked into the northern fringes of Atlanta’s upscale Morningside neighborhood, the Morningside Nature Preserve is a hidden yet well-loved matrix of hiking, walking and running trails that traverse over 30 acres of rolling forest.

The Morningside Nature Preserve Hike is a dog friendly trail. Your pup must be dog and people friendly.

Hike begins at 12 pm and ends at 1:30 pm, not including travel time.
